The role
Senior Mobile Frontend Engineer responsible for leading frontend development for native iOS and Android apps built with React Native, shipping features end-to-end, and shaping mobile architecture and best practices. This is an individual contributor (IC3) role with high autonomy that partners closely with product, design, backend, and AI teams to deliver high-quality, performant mobile experiences.
What you’ll do
- Own frontend development for native iOS and Android apps built with React Native
- Turn product specs and Figma designs into pixel-perfect, high-performance mobile screens
- Ship features end to end, including App Store and Google Play releases
- Partner with backend engineers to integrate APIs, real-time data, and AI-powered features
- Ensure consistency and accessibility across iOS and Android
- Optimize startup time, responsiveness, and overall performance
- Shape architecture, component design, and state management patterns
- Lead code reviews and maintain mobile code quality
- Build rich interactive screens with animations and gestures
- Partner with QA to test, fix bugs, and prepare releases; run release processes and maintain app health
