Senior Software Engineer

Owner of end-to-end features across mobile, desktop, backend, and a shared cryptographic core for an end-to-end encrypted messaging product. Solve offline-first, convergence, and protocol-level problems while delivering consumer-grade UX in a security-critical product on a small team.

• Build features across React Native mobile apps, a macOS desktop app, and a Node/PostgreSQL backend
• Design and implement protocol-level features: identity verification, group membership/voting, message delivery/sync, key distribution
• Develop and maintain a shared Rust core used by clients and server tooling
• Solve offline-first sync, convergence, and encrypted local database problems
• Write unit, integration, and multi-client protocol tests
• Review code and help set engineering standards
• Collaborate directly with product, design, and founders
